Could we possibly get a Micheal Moore sub-forum?

Dvd Talk, Movie Talk, and the otter are all victims of Micheal Moore threads. I think it might be for the best to make a Micheal Moore sub-forum. Would that be possible?

Oh God no. That would be worse than adding a politics forum. This whole Moore craze will die down soon (well at least until the film is released theatrically).

I'll talk to the other mods about trying to condense down the number of the threads on the topic....

This infestation even made its way into TV Talk of all places, but our excellent admin over there nipped that nonsense in the bud immediately.

What happened to my Michael Moore thread this morning. I didn't delete it. Why not lock it if there's a problem? Ridiculous. Can someone bother sending a PM or email if you are going to DELETE a thread?

If people don't like Michael Moore threads, don't open them...

In addition to the search function there is another function of the forum that allows one to search for posts they have made. It's up above every one of your posts and looks like this - . It really helps in locating posts that you know you made but just can't find.

Your thread was merged into one of the dozens of existing Michael Moore threads as was another new Michael Moore thread that appeared in Other today. Since your thread was discussing publicity posters it was merged with an existing thread in Movie Talk.

That was fast! FAHRENHEIT 9-11 hits theaters on JUNE 25th! / Adv. Posters [merged]

IMHO, mods simply interfere too much - all this merging and closing and commenting and threatening....no way, baby-cakes.

I don't think the forum would die as a result of more Moore threads.
