Keen Eddie to air on Bravo...
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Fans of the short-lived FOX series "Keen Eddie" may get to see all 13 episodes of the show as soon as early 2004.
Bravo has picked up the rights to "Keen Eddie" in a deal with Paramount Network TV, which produced the series about a New York cop (Mark Valley) who goes to work in London after blowing a case at home.
"We had a very loyal audience who continued to this day to hound us wanting to see more episodes of the series. Thanks to Bravo, they will be able to," executive producer Warren Littlefield tells the trade journal TV Week. "This is a fabulous fit for our show."
Littlefield, a former NBC chief, also praised the NBC-owned cable network's recent marketing efforts, which helped make "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" a hit and raised awareness of the brand.
The deal for "Keen Eddie" includes all 13 episodes that were filmed, including six that never aired. Originally slated for midseason last year, "Eddie" was held back until this summer, where it drew only mediocre ratings for FOX. The show averaged about 5.1 million viewers over its seven-week run.

and more good news/bad news:
CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- Bravo has picked up the broadcast rights to FOX's short-lived dramedy "Keen Eddie." The cable network will air all 13 episodes of the series, six of which never aired on FOX, beginning in January at the earliest. In addition, the Paramount-distributed series has been slated for a DVD release however no street date has been set.
The NBC-owned cable channel reportedly paid just $50,000 per episode for the one-year window, which includes the right to repeat each episode several times a week. Insiders expect Bravo to pair "Eddie" with smash hit "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" on Tuesday nights however no time slot has been officially announced.
The sale to Bravo and the DVD release are both seen as efforts by Paramount to recoup the production costs of the series as most shows don't become profitable until after several years on the air. Don't expect Bravo to order episodes beyond the 13 produced for FOX however, as fresh installments would run 15-20 times the cost of the repeat rights.
Overall for its seven week run this summer on FOX, the series averaged just 4.9 million viewers and a 2.2 rating and 6 share among adults 18-49. Nevertheless, should even half that number tune into the Bravo run it would be a major success.

I am really, really happy that we will have a chance to see the final six episodes.
[crosses fingers] Hopefully it will do well enough to have them order new ones. [/crosses fingers]
I love this show* - it was the best thing on TV this summer (actually it is one of my all-time favs) and Fox treated it like crap and never gave it the chance it deserved.
*see my sig.
