Ok, I get it. It was probably just a mistake at that one store. They looked at the list and marked it without thinking. At the registar did they manually have to change the price? Yeah I thought so. I also got lucky in a similar manner. The store near me had the new Legacy of Kain game for $15.

Yeah, clueless employees. My friend found Project Gotham Racing 2 marked at $14.99. Rang up $50 of course, he tried to haggle with them but no dice.

I have a Kaybee Toy store that is running the 20% off sale, but I had them check NBA Street 2 for the PS2 and it still rang up at $31.99. Is every store that has the 20% off sale going to close. I would like to take advantage of their great unannounced sale. Is there a list of stores that are closing available?

Thanks

None of the stores are closing, they are just phasing out games. The clearance sales would last until stock is gone I imagine.

From the selection actually at the stores, this could be over with by now.

20% here too. Too bad, since there were two copies of Otogi and three copies of Panzer Dragoon Orta.

None of the stores are closing... yet.

However, it's just a matter of time before either a significant number of individual KBs or the entire chain joins the ranks of Child World and Zany Brainy as the ghosts of toy retailers past.

It will take a Christmas miracle for KB to figure out some way to survive against Walmart's increasing dominance in toy sales, long-term.

The KB Toys at The Parks at Arlington is not discontinuing video games, but the one in Hulen Mall in Fort Worth is. The discount is currently 20% off but does not include Game Boy Advance games. It appears that they will continue to carry those.

Well, I decided to check out my KB Toys again and to my surprise I saw $9.99, $14.99 stickers on games Needless to say I picked up a few for myself and for Copenhagen. I may have to go back there on Saturday or even Friday to see if they have any copies of F-Zero GX...and any Castlevanias.
