There's still no release date(late February 2004 is rumored), but at least we know what to expect in terms of extras.

Seven audio commentaries(most of which are on key episodes in the season), a nearly 40-minute season overview, more outtakes, and a handful of other mini-featurettes. Looks great! I assume we can expect 1.78:1 WS transfers and 2.0 audio. Not to mention the "Previously on Angel" intros since this is the R2 release.
