Comedy Central Presents: The Commies 2003

It's gonna start soon. The commercials have looked good. Andy Richter's hosting, so it should at least be worth a look. I'll be watching...

Hah, I'm pretty sure Wanda's show was cancelled, yet she still got the award.

"Hah, I'm pretty sure Wanda's show was cancelled, yet she still got the award."

Hear her acceptance? Said something like "I'd thank Fox but they haven't picked me up yet!" with a beep in there somewhere.

Was Andy Richter's show nominated for best new series? Not only was it cancelled a year ago, but that was it's second season. From what I saw, the nominations were actually decent, though.

I turned it on for ten seconds and saw Richter accepting an award while sitting bareassed on the toilet. I decided the comedy was too sophisticated for me and changed the channel.

Honk!

Turned the channel during a commercial and saw them give the best animated vocal award to Adam Sandler for "8 Crazy Nights". Decided to avoid switching to Comedy Central during commercials until this lame awards show was over.

I watched the first half hour and was unimpressed. I watched that last 3/4ths of Christmas Vacation on NBC instead.

They made up, and were working on a script for a new movie together when Tommy got sent to jail.
