New N-Gage bundles

This just made me laugh when I saw it at IGN:
Nokia is launching new bundling deals for its N-Gage game deck in which buyers would be treated to free accessories and games.

One such deal is available at major game retailers EB Games and GameStop, in which three free games of the buyer's choice will be included with the game deck. GameStop and EB Games' $100 instant rebate will remain in effect, making the total retail price of the system and three games a low $199.99.
Other major retailers will feature their own unique N-Gage bundles. Target will be issuing a $100 gift certificate to those who pick up the N-Gage with one game, and Wal-Mart will offer the N-Gage, three games, a 64MB multimedia card (allowing MP3 storage, etc.), and a carrying case for $299.99 on their online store.

I give this system another 6months before it's not even sold in stores anymore.

Man I wonder how money are they are going to lose? I mean they paid to have the units made. Man it's going to be a lot for god sakes. Also they need to change this crap ad stuff they got going man the print ads and tv ads are just bad. This is where I lift them wanting more. What I find funny is the one with the empty street is where all the N-Gage users was going to meet up I beat for a lanch party. I think that one is something about getting run down or some crap. I got no idea WTF they think them ads are going to do talk about wasting money.

Shit I'm dead tried I'm going now see ya later.

lol, i was at a gamestop and the salesguy was unenthusiatically telling me about the deal that now i can get 3 free games w/ it. what was nokia thinking? i don't care if it competes w/ the gameboy or not, but at least make it easy for the games to be switched out... and cheaper - like $100 w/ a couple of free games.

or as clarkkentky said, wait until the buncle it w/ a gameboy. that's right, buncle.

The first time I saw the "sidetalkin" page, I desperately wanted someone to post a pic of them sidetalkin' with their Virtua Boy. My wish has been granted!

at the SideTalkin' site...

They could buncle this thing with the entire catalogue of games and it still wouldn't sell. IMO this deal falls into the "tastes like crap, but there's plenty of it" category...

I remember I was at EB last month and somebody called in asking how much a memory card was in which he said something in the neighborhood of $60 for a 64MB card. The customer said "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?", and the worker said "Nope, you wanna hear me kidding? "Hey that N-Gauge thats the coolest thing ever!!"". I was almost dying laughing.

I'm getting a week of TechTV so I'm seeing those nGage commercials now - wow, very cheap and cheesey.
