What did you do with your Indiana Jones Best Buy Bonus Disc?

After getting the Indy set with the infamous 10 minute Best Buy Bonus Disc, I find myself sweating over whether I should put the disc in a double Amaray with Raiders or with the regular 4th bonus disc. This got me thinking, and I am somewhat curious to know what everyone else chose to do with their disc.

Sure, it’s a rather trivial poll, but I thought it might be fun.

Other for me. I have this cool looking little oak chest that I keep all my obscure or extra DVD things in that don't really fit on my DVD storage shelves or look out of place there. Things like this 5th disc, the cardboard packaging on the Total Recall moon tin, outside labels like what was covering the Indy Box set, Simpson box sets etc etc. Call me weird but I don't throw any of that stuff out, so I just keep it in this little box tucked away.

I put it in a my DVD Case that I use solely for disk like this. The bonus matrix disk, the bonus Die Another Day Disk, ect... I keep them all in there nice and safe.

I sold mine for $20.00.

So, the trilogy really only cost me $25.00.

I love Ebay.

It's sitting on my desk waiting for me to get around to getting some double-keep cases. Then I'll put it with the other bonus disc.

You were really sweating over something like this? Serious?

Me, I just left it in the case it came in and threw it in the amaray that came with the 4th bonus disk.

I keep it in the little plastic case it came in and behind the paper where it originally was. I figure the paper will eventually lose it's stickiness though so I'll probably just put it on top of the box or something.

there was a 5th disc ?? what is on it ?? that infamous Barbara streisand scene ??

If it was anything important, why would it not be on the actual disc #4 ?

"Sold it to some idiot on eBay (or elsewhere) for a ridiculously large sum of money."

Watched once, sold for nearly $30, effectively making my brand spanking new Indy Set around $18.

It's in a separate keepcase with some spiffy artwork created by my son-in-law. He did the same thing for the Matrix Reloaded Best Buy disc.

No. Not really. Just being facetious.

But, I was honestly wondering which pairing would be more appropriate: BB Bonus Disc with Raiders or BB Bonus Disc with regular bonus disc?

makes me upset that the studios would hold back some exsisting extras to offer it to some huge store chains so they can use it as extra extras ..

what if in year walmart, bestbuy and whatnot.com have all different extra bonus special ueber discs .. this sucks ..

and using a full DVD for a 10 minute featurette is waste of material ..

Any non greedy people on here have a fifth disc that they watched but decided its not worth keeping? I'd be willing to pay for shipping if you'd want to get rid of it. I wasn't able to get to BB until Friday the week it came out and by then they were all gone. Its a shame because my uncle is an INDIANA JONES fanatic and he's also confined to a wheelchair so he can't exactly get to Best Buy to pick it up. I was thinking of trying to track down disc 5 for him for Christmas but the prices on ebay are a tad extreme at almost $30 for a 10 minute disc. Anyone on here know of any DVD trading sites where perhaps I can trade with someone for the disc?

Hehe, I just sold mine on Ebay for $24.99.

At first I didn't think I had gotten that great of a deal on the Indy set. Now I see it differently.

What does "greed" have to do with it? So I should be charitable because I got a bonus disc? I'm not trying to slam you here, but man, this post is just riddled with a bunch of "please feel guilty and sorry and give me a disc" junk. You think $30 is extreme for a 10 minute disc? I think that begging for a 10 minute disc is extreme.

The documentary is floating around on the net already in DIVX format...just go look for it and burn it to a CD-R. It was on a newsgroup the other day...This way you don't have to make any sort of deal to get it.

Well, I'm such a greedy bastard, I'm going to go and list mine on ebay to sell to the morons. Maybe I'll donate the profits to Toys for Tots. Maybe I'll put the profits into "Deep Inside Tera Patrick". Either way, I'm a scumbag, right?

Put mine up "buy it now" for $24.99 and sold it within 12 hours to a dude in spain. Since he's not in the US and has no access to best buy and thus has no other way to get it, I hesitate to refer to him as as "idiot". I even sent him the paper insert that folded over the box, just because he asked for it. After ebay fees, paypal fees, etc. made the Indy set about $30.

Sold my LOTR trading cards from the Fellowship EE last year on ebay too.

BTW, I noticed the extra disc sticker on some Indy sets at Best Buy this afternoon.

I sold mine on eBay for $46.00.

I figure for that money I could pick up two Criterions I had my eye on.

I agree. His type is common nowadays: wanting something for nothing. And, if you don't give it to him, you're a mean, greedy bastard.

Anyway, I enjoyed my "greedy" $20.00 I got for mine on Ebay. As someone alluded to earlier, I look at this as only paying about $25.00 for the set.

Umm... Hmm... I don't think I was "begging" at all, just curious. I also didn't ask anyone to be charitable. I simply asked if anyone who had the disc had watched it and then decided they could live life wthout it. Then I asked if anyone knew of any DVD trading sites where perhaps I could trade for it. Maybe you should turn down that atrocious Led Zeppelin so you can better comprehend what you are (attempting) to read. As for burning it, nope, can't do it. I don't have a burner (I hope you don't take that comment as me "begging" or as a plea of guilt). Toys for Tots would be great to donate to especially with Christmas rapidly approaching, but judging from your inept, mistaken reply I'm sure the Tera Patrick DVD will be the route you go. Just one quick glance of your DVD collection told me that that title would fit in perfectly with all of the bad comedies and anime you already have (and I'm sure all the porn you don't list). A DVD woman is one step closer to the real thing I guess, huh? Too bad Zeppelin isn't touring anymore. Maybe then your chances would be better and there would be one more Tera Patrick DVD going out to a person with an even bigger anime collection that's perhaps a Pink Floyd fan .
