I've been waiting for this Robert Altman classic myself. It's on my wish list. Sorry I can't help with any release info, but the moment I hear, I will create a thread on this site.

A great movie that I don't think ever got a wide theatrical release. I saw it in the theater, and watched the VHS many years ago with a friend, and I swear the VHS had some scenes edited out. Anyone know if that was the case?

Serious fault.

...I wasn't guessing - I was commenting - quite reasonably so - on your contradictory comments regarding the transfer... learn to read!

I'm not sure how you can comment validly on something you are completely ignorant about (you don't own the DVD).
I'll give you another exampIe of a positive thing with some negative elements (even though I can still claim it's good). I could say the USA invasion of Iraq has been sucessful 'overall' even though American soldiers are being killed on a daily basis.
So, it's sucessful overall but not for the parents/family of those soldiers.
If that doesn't explain my comments for you I'm not sure anything will.

I've got an extra copy of the Spanish DVD, if anyone is looking for it shipped from the US (email me directly). Walter is right in that the height of the image is slightly off, but it didn't affect my enjoyment the one time I watched it.
