Help me decide which movies to see in 3-D!
Well, here in Birmingham at the historic Alabama Theater, they are having a special week of 3-D movies screenings for $7 bucks each (or $30 for all 5). The schedule is as follows:
Monday - Jaws 3
Tuesday - Friday the 13th Part 3
Weds - Creature from the Black Lagoon
Thurs - Dial M for Murder
Friday - House of Wax
Pretty cool, huh? Anyway, I really can't make them all and was wanting to get some opinions from those of you familiar with these flicks. I am definitely going to Friday the 13th Part 3 & Dial M for Murder.
How bad is Jaws 3? I have actually never seen it & was curious if the 3-D was any good. I recently watched Creature From the Black Lagoon a year or so ago & found it to be slow & tedious. I really can't imagine the 3-D being that good but has anyone here actually seen it in 3-D and has opinions? House of Wax is a flick I have not seen since I was a kid & it was another one that I was questioning both the 3-D and the actual movie/story itself.
So...opinions? Anyone envious?

When I saw the list, my mind immediately voted for House of Wax and Creature From the Black Lagoon. Though after reading the rest of your post, I see that may not be your cup of tea.
I've always been curious to see [B]Dial M For Murder[B] in 3-D.

The awfulness of Jaws 3 is only magnified in 3D... I believe it's used "sparingly" even then - and that's being kind... Dennis Quaid reciting boring dialogue with his girlfriend/brother/dolphin is no more exciting in 3D...
I'd be curious to go see Dial M for Murderesness in 3D, although it's hard to imagine how they would use it; it's practically a filmed stage play on a single set - but it's definately a more enjoyable film than Jaws 3D.
...and no, I'm not particularly jealous

I recently saw Creature in 3-D in Los Angeles and it was great (but not as great as It Came From Outer Space which has stupendous 3-D). The underwater scenes look particularly good in 3D.
