I voted for She's Gone (the album version).
A close second place is I Can't Go For That (No Can Do). I Can't Go For That was the very first single (45 rpm) that I ever bought with my very own money (I was 8 years old). I read somewhere that Daryl Hall stated that he can't count how many times he is contacted by other artists asking to sample that groove. He said that song alone made them multi-millionaires.
People forget how many hits these guys had. As of 1990 they had 31 Top Forty hits with 17 of those being Top Tens and 6 of them hitting #1! (includes Hall's 2 Top Forty hits from his solo career)
I still listen to them & they still sound pretty fresh. It seems music like theirs is completely dead now.
