Awesome! I love the Eagles, I always get crap for it but I really do. I'll be picking this up when it comes out.

Trying to figure out why I should buy this since I already own their 2 GH cd's. The dvd special isn't enough to entice me since "Hole...." isn't getting much airplay plus it's not that good of a song.

I'm getting it since it's remastered plus it has some more great songs James Dean, Wasted Time, Please Come Home for Christmas, In the City, Those Shoes, & Get Over It, just to name a few, that the 2 Greatest Hits CDs don't have. Plus I like booklets and the Greatest Hits CDs, which I sold to my cousin for $10, don't have good booklets and this new set has a 48 page booklet.
$16 is a great deal for this set or in my case I'm thinking $6 & 2 out of date CDs.

I agree. The vocals are nice enough, but the song is so damn repetitive. How many times did they say "There's a hole in the world tonight, there's a......" (sorry, forgot the rest). Just didn't seem like a whole lot of effort went into this song. Interested in hearing that long delayed new album though. Although I'm more of a modern rock fan, both the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac are true classic bands.
