55th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards (9.21.03)

I assume we should have a discussion thread separate from the prediction thread? If not, I'll gladly drop this one.

I was going to say:

"I predict it's going to start at 10pm.."

But the Giants just scored the winning field goal [after screwing up their lead, of course..]

I disagree. I'm enjoying his monologue. But then, Shandling's stlye doesn't really work for everyone.

I have to laugh at Mullally listed as a Supporting Actress for Jack & Karen.

Thought the same thing about Tyne Daly being out of breath. Her and Doris Roberts are the winners so far, which doesn't really bode well for newscomers. Hopefully not all the old favorites don't sweep.

Didn't really like Shandling's monologue.

I hope that there are no more Governor jokes, but that ain't likely. It's been milked to death already...

Yeah, they'd never milk something waaaay past its effectiveness. Btw, I'd just like to dedicate this post to the troops. They're the real winners!!!

Jon Stewart was fantastic. I can't see anyone being funnier than him tonight.

Kudos to Fox for allowing him to clearly mock their news coverage.

I really wanted Bryan Cranston to win the supporting award for Malcolm, but at least Sean Hayes didn't get it...

"Mock"? They viewed it as "Free Promotion"...

Is anyone else having video problems? It seems like everything is very distorted and shaky...
