Several Superbits $10.95 & Up!

I thought I read something here previously but a search revealed nothing recent. CDWOW is showing the following Superbits for 10.95 or more. Before you ask, aren't they region 3 Superbits? Yes, they are..but according to CDWow, they are playable in any NTSC machine. They are really good with their Customer Service.. so email them for questions. Here are the 'bits...

Panic Room: Superbit $8.95
Vertical Limit: Superbit (DTS) $12.95
Desperado: Superbit (DTS) $9.95
Hollow Man: Superbit (2 Disc DTS) $12.95
The Patriot: Superbit (DTS) $9.95
Men In Black: Superbit $12.95

New link with cheaper superbits. Just use the search for superbits. The offer still works even though it says it expires on the 31 of December 2002.

Old Link for superbits at the same site, but $1 more. Don't use this.

Yeah, I saw this... almost regretted getting them for $16 from Suncoast!

Then I remembered I'd usually be spending $20+ for them anyway...

I believe just region 3 superbits..not just any region 3. But, like I said, email them.

If you have a DVDRom and PowerDVD software, then you can check out all the regions listed on a DVD. From observation, most DVDs that are sold here, are compatible with Regions 3 and 4 as well.

Most of the R1 Superbits are in fact R1, R3 and R4

That is the reason R3 Superbit will play fine on R1 machines, not to mention these are NTSC DVDs

Go ahead and order them. The only things I hate about R3 Superbits are the inferior packaging, and the non-Amaray case that they come with. Othere than that, the content of the disk and everything is identical to R1 counterparts.

How is the packaging different for the R3 discs?

Thanks Bill,

I gave Desperado: Superbit (DTS) $10.95 a shot. If it doesn't work on my machine, I won't go bankrupt.

As always, you can switch the case.

I just ordered The Patriot so hopefully it will work since thats one of the few superbits that I'm missing.
Has anyone in the States ever dealt with CD-Wow.net before? Just wondering how long free shipping will take from them.

I ordered The Patriot Superbit. A two disc set for 11 bucks, not bad at all. I just hope it works on my DVD player.

Any problems, email them here.

http://www6.cd-wow.net/contact_form....t_type=general

That is funny..I had trouble finding the check out also. I can't stay logged in either. They might be doing some updates. A quick email might get you a quick answer.

what about that Region 2 Das Boot Superbit listed at 21.95? That WON't work on my region 1 player right? or will it? Can someone clear up this Superbit playability issue once and for all?

I picked up the Desperado Region 3. I see that the Das Boot is PAL encoded, so i skipped that.

Plain and simple, Region 2 won't work for you, Region 3 Superbits will. However, other Region 3 discs will not.

Thanks! $19.90 for both "Desperado" and "The Patriot" (2 disc) sounds like a good gamble to me!

I wonder how the Superbit "Desperado" will compare to the upcoming remastered re-release? I guess I'll probably find out...

The trailer for "Once Upon A Time In Mexico" looks pretty good, also. I believe I found the link for it on aintitcool.com.

There is another release of this one coming out? This is a guilty pleasure movie. I already own the previous 2 release (one of which includes the superbit).
