Directors cut does not equel "All footage shot". it just means that it's the way the director intended it to be. In this day and age, "DIRECTORS CUT" really has been over used in many ways and gives folks a false sense of security that what they are buying is something more then they originally saw or something. Most directors are usually pleased with the film released in theaters.

as for the crow, I believe it is indeed what the director intended even though some footage ismissing.. maybe the director didn't want it in..

Some directors cuts are shorter than the theatrical releases as well...

Sounds like it would've made for a better movie to have included most of those things. I've always felt that CoA felt sort of incomplete.

The so-called director's cut on video is the same exact movie I saw in theatres.

As for this footage that was cut/reshot, I wish they'd re-release this film on DVD with all this footage back the way it was. It seems this way the movie could have lived up to the potential it had (I'm glad to see that there was originally a payoff to Ashe wanting to choose Sarah over avenging his son).

I remember watching the VHS almost a year after watching the movie in the theatre, and there was one scene I didn't remember seeing in the theatre, but that's about it. I haven't seen the movie in years, so I'm not sure which scene it is, but I know it's towards the end of the movie, right before the credits, if I'm not mistaken.
