Where to find Disney movies in Japanese? PLEASE HELP!

I really, want to know, where can I find Disney movies in Japanese? I've been downloading MP3's of Disney songs in Japanese and I am loving them so much more than the English originals..

So please, can anyone show me where to get

Aladdin
The Lion King
A Little Mermaid
Hercules
Mulan
Anastasia [FOX]

I would love to find these in Japanese language..hopefully DVD/VCD....

I am anxious to own these movies on optical format, but knowing Disney, I know Japanese language tracks will be missing..so please help.

u can easily find it in cantonese on VCD. if you're lucky enough, you can get the cantonese dubs on region 3 dvd.

Beware of the chinese dubs of "Tarzan" (both cantonese and mandarin dubs), Takeshi Kaneshiro is hardly understandable as Tarzan.

Normally, for Japanese DVDs I would recommend cdjapan.co.jp, but their site seems to be down for maintenance. So, you could try amazon.jp (expect to pay the equivalent of about 30-45.00 US per title plus shipping). Also, your player has to be able to play Region 2 discs.

Not 100% sure if the titles you mention have Japanese language tracks on the DVDs but there is a good chance that they do.

Most Japanese DVDs do have Japanese language dubs as well as original soundtrack... in the case of the Disney DVDs that the original poster is asking after, the Lion King, Little Mermaid, and Aladdin are all discontinued. Anastasia can be found at Amazon Japan for 2,500 yen and has Japanese language track as well as Japanese subtitles, Mulan is no longer available but there is a second hand copy available from their Market Place (for over 9,000 yen!!). I could not find Hercules at all.

Hope this helps.

regards, Tim...

I wasn't aware that the Lion King and Alladin had been released in DVD format in Japan or anywhere legally for that matter. Are you referring to VCDs, and if so, that's not really a market in Japan but rather in other Asian countries.
Disney DVDs are still on the pricey side (about 3800 yen) but like posters have said, CDJapan or amazon.co.jp is your best bet for finding them.

Here's a link to the amazon.co.jp Disney page:

http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/...584247-2749941

It's in Japanese but you can click on the pictures and such.
