Tales Of The Malazan to be published in the US?
According to this site
http://www.malazanempire.com/
"TOR Publishers are reported to have made a 10 book deal with Erikson. They will begin publishing the books sometime in 2004."
"This is what Erikson had to say over at Wotmania.com about the US publication: "I believe a deal's been done for the US, with a reissuing of the books starting in 2004." "
Now, finally, maybe people in the US can finally read this great series.
By the way, if you puruse the site, don't click on the Steven Erikson Q&A links. Many, many spoilers.
Of course I had to read the forums and found that Erikson has recommended a book called The Darkness That Comes Before (The Prince of Nothing, Book 1), by R. Scott Bakker.
Yet another fantasy series.
Since I had a 10 off 40 coupon from Chapters.ca, I ordered it along with Legends, edited by Robert Silverberg(I can finally read Hedge Knight).
If it is good, then that'll be another fantasy series I'll be reading.
Christ, so amy books, so little time.
