From what I’ve gathered from other internet news sources, Lucasfilm is doing a major overhaul to the original films in terms of image quality. But what I know hasn’t been seen on the net yet. Basically what you need to know is that the movies will be interactive – it wont be mandatory during film viewing, but you will have the option of learning more about the people and places depicted in various scenes. For instance, when Indy is in Cairo, you can stop to learn more about Northern Africa during the 1930s.
And I’ve also read rumors on other news sites that the DVDs wont be released as a trilogy, but one at a time over the next three years, with Raiders set to be released by Christmas 2003. I know the only "information stops" that have been worked on so far are related solely to places Indy went in Raiders of the Lost Ark, so I would presume that this release schedule is correct.
I'll get more, so stay tuned.

I tend to still stick with the rumor that all three will be released at once based on the ad someone found that they posted on TheDigitalBits. Well, anyway, I'm just glad these will be coming finally.

Seriously though, just get them out so we can see Indy in all his OAR goodness with a remixed DD5.1-DTS-ES platform!

If this rumor is true, it sounds like a stupid release plan. Another format could be available before all 3 films get released on DVD. And I can't stand Infinifilm type stuff on my DVDs. When I watch a movie, I don't want to jump away to interviews or making-of segments. I prefer to watch them separately, after the movie.

This was the original rumor, then was supplanted by the box-set rumor, now to be replaced by the original. All we need are a couple thousand more rumors and release announcements cancelled and we can have another BTTF.

Selling them seperately is great (I hate the Godfather Trilogy because I don't want them all). But releasing them 1 year at a time would suck. I doubt they'll do this. Just a rumor.

I didn't know they were doing Indy 4??..Isn't Harrison Ford a little to old to be running around saving the world with a whip??
I barely got through believing Sean Connery as his father in Indy 3

Release them all together!
