...umm... where did you find a two-disc Mexican release?... I only found this, which looks like just the one disc and - btw - states: languages: Spanish, English / subtitles: Spanish (only)...

. . . . . .

Hello.

The link is right, the picture is wrong....

You can find a review in spanish in:

http://www.contactodvd.com/dvd/y_tu_mama_tambien.php

I have the 2 disc mexican edition and my only complaints are that there are some visible compression artifacts on some scenes and that some of the extras are just promotional stuff for the soundtrack and a book...

BTW, the Region 4 Mexican edition has english menus.

Thanks for the Links.

I was actually referring to this Edition. I only found it on ebay so far.

The best release without doubt is the UK disc

Very nice transfer and good extras to boot. My copy (now sold) came with a little book (actually a book -not a leaflet) which was a nice extra too.

It's been on sale lately as is available from www.choicesdirect.co.uk (an excellent retailer) for £7.99/US$13 -they don't ship to the USA IIRC but I'm sure you can find it at a simialr price from the usual suspects.

I was really looking forward to the film and found it to be a MASSIVE disappointment.

I did not to express my opinion as this thread was not about whether or not the movie was good enough, etc. HOWEVER....

I absolutely agree with Lucas....this movie was average at best...I really tried to like it and am not sure the film appealed this well to me (for a number of reasons). Anyway....I am sure you are not looking for an opinion so...good luck in finding the best version available!!
