I know it reviewed poorly, but I don't trust the reviews 100%.

Hearsay from fans of the originals: controls are lowsy, rapping is really irritating.

Exactly.

I loved the first two,and after reading GAMEFAQS a lot of people seem to enjoy it.
Unfortunately that board is populated by people who act like 4 year olds, so I put no faith in them either

I picked it up the day it came out. If you enjoyed the first one, you'll like this one as well. It's basically the same thing, but with 3D graphics. As long as you're not expecting a game with serious gameplay and plot, you'll have fun with it.

P.S. If you're worried about age, I'm 22 and still enjoy the game.

I also picked it up the day it came out and was defending it in another thread but now it is a week later. I solved it a couple days ago and was glad to finally be done with it. After awhile the game become very repetitive and boring. The raps are very annoying and they tend to say the same things over and over again. I highly suggest that you give it a rent before you buy it.
