I Kina spiser de hunde on DVD available w/ English subs?

I have read some good reviews about this film and I believe a prequel was just released in Danish theaters.

The DVD is available cheaply through dvdoo.com, but unfortunately it doesn't have English subs or and English audio track.

Does anyone know if this film "I Kina spiser de hunde" (In China They Eat Dogs) is available on DVD in any other region, with English subs or and English audio track?

I am interested in checking out this film.

there is currently no dvd release of "In China They Eat Dogs" with english subs. there is a VHS festival screener floating around, but that's about it. maybe i'll do fansubs for the dvd someday.

There's also a German R2 disc out but features only Geman subs for the Danish audio.

Good movie indeed !

If you're still interested about the German edition check my page

Actually, they have. The rights was sold to an American production company, which I cannot remember. I read that Harvey Keitel was once offered a part. I think they just started shooting a british re-make September 20th.

Unfortunately, most remakes are horrible. I always stick to the originals regardless of country of origin.

No, I donīt know the title of it. I guess, it will be revealed soon.

Morke was directed by Jannik Johansen, who did Rembrandt. I think itīs a bit early to say when Morke will be on DVD. It just hit the theatres October 7th. But the Danes will get it first on DVD, of course.
