I ordered 3 CDs on May 21 and haven't received any of them yet. I did receive a shipping notification email for one of them a few days after I placed the order, but now when I look at my account on their site, it shows none of them having shipped. Granted, I haven't been charged yet, but I'd like to know if I'm ever going to receive the CDs.

My order was for some decidedly non-mainstream stuff (Kidneytheives, old mid-80s era Delerium) but if they are only going to successfully ship mainstream titles, I have no use for them, as I can get mainstream titles through CH for a much lower average price.

it's media mail, so it's gonna take a while (longest for me was over 3 weeks. generally, though, expect 5-10 days

DDD say on their site that they ship Standard mail not media mail. So the question is what do they really use?

I've finally received one of the three CDs I ordered. The other two remain backordered.

I understand they ship media mail, as does deepdiscountdvd. But I've never had an order from the DVD side take this long.

I stand by my statement that they only seem to be good for mainstream product.

still waiting... i ordered discs from DDD on the same day and received those almost 2 weeks ago. Makes me wonder if they even shipped it at all. Don't think I'll be using them again. It's a shame too, they had some pretty god prices.

they came to my house yesterday,
dvdkrayzie, just give them time, they will ship eventually since they are probably out of stock. if they dont ship within the next 3 weeks, then you can complain to them.

I have gotten most of my CDs from them, but the few I haven't are out of print or in limited availbility at other websites. I thought it was too good to be true when I saw some of those titles listed, but I would have at least thought by now I would have gotten a note from them telling me the CDs were no longer available.

And did anybody else notice that some CDs were listed then a few days later were gone from the site? Harry Nillsons' "The Point" for example, was listed, but now is no longer on their site. That is another too good to be true one, since it's long out of print, but I wonder how accurate their information was when it said the CDs would ship in 3-5 days.

I remember these types of complaints when DeepDiscountDVD had just opened.

I think so. At least there are some DVDs that I ordered after I ordered some CDs and the DVDs have arrived and still no word on the CDs (tho they are the ones I fear are out of print, but still no word either online or in email.) And I also agree that DDDVD was about the same when I first tried them out when they were new too, so I would expect DDCD to only get better.
