Tears of the Black Tiger
Well, just got done watching this Thai western. I bought it solely based on this review http://www.kfccinema.com/reviews/asi...lacktiger.html
Got it from Bensonsworld. Definitely worth experiencing at least once. A melodramatic western with some crazy neon-technicolor photography. I kinda got sick of the same theme song coming up every 2 minutes. Anyone else seen this? Nudity/thoughts?

definitely one of the more bizarre things I've ever seen, but definitely worth it. The theme song didn't bother me really. I liked the mix of tunes and styles.
I don't recall any nudity though, or were you looking for a different word?

About the Captain: he reminds me of Hervé Villechaize... Anyone else notice the similarities?

I like this film allot more than I should! When I first saw it I kept on thinking that they painted their sets with what ever was left over from Dick Tracy ! I 1st got wind of this film when they reported last
year's Cannes FF & found a VHS (yeah I know...) copy that I rented
from a local store that has Thai/Viet/Filipino films. I could not shut up about it with my co-workers & passed it on to a few of them.
The Funkmeister would not lie: GET THIS DVD !
