i will never buy from this company again. they are just so terrible its not even funny. i don't think i'd buy if they were selling dvd's for $5/each

I agree 100% with clumsysquirrel. I highly recommend that people stay far, far away from under18.org. As tempting as some of their sales continue to be, I had terrible experiences with them, and I will never use them again.

Are magnetichuman and clumsysquirrel willing to share the specifics of their bad experiences or link to an earlier thread if they made such a post already?

codefree posted a caveat emptor in his opening piece but I'm guessing that there may be others reading who'd be interested in knowing what went wrong in actual cases and how it was dealt with at the time by the vendor.

Of course that may turn this into more of a "Store Forum" thread....

From reading other forums the jist of the complaints were:

- wrong titles shipped out.
- extremely poor packaging resulting in badly scratched dvds on arrival.
- lengthy restocking time for titles.
- replacement discs for damaged shipments looked as if they were previously viewed/used discs (large smudges/fingerprints/open discs).


I'm sure there were more complaints as well, but the poor packaging seems a likely culprit for disatisfaction along with the replacement discs. For me personally, only Blackstar has met my satisfaction for a UK etailer that ships to North America, but they are a bit pricey. Benson's WAS good until they started mishipping my packages to wrong addresses.

i cant find my thread where i told everyone about how i had to pay $12 bucks or so extra because they f'd up. and how it took about a week and a half just to get my order through. and how 2 of the 4 discs i got were scratched.
