JET GRIND RADIO sucks with the DC controller!

I love JGR($10 @ BEST BUY) but the DC controller makes this game 5xs harder than it has to be. Man I wish I could used the PSX2 controller with it....is there any way to do this???

I believe there was some kind of adapter that would let you use a PSONE Dual Shock controller on the DC, but it seemed that the reviews said it didn't work real well as the Dual Shock analog stick is fairly loose compared to the one on the DC controller.

If you're problem is with your thumb slipping off the crappy sega analog stick, then pick up a Mad Catz Dream Pad. The stick, and all the buttons, have a rubbery coating so you're thumb and fingers don't slip off them. It's just a ton better than the Sega controller overall.

The only problem with the controller is that they mapped paint and camera to the same button.

they did infact have a Converter that you can plug in a PSX controller and then just plug it into the DC and have it convert perfectly..

Do you remember the name?

I'm used to the PSX controllers so this would work great.

I to have God status. It must be your technique. Although the rubber coating would help. Just take some used gum and slap it on there.

I have a PSX to DC converter made by Innovation.
I got mine at Software Etc.

There have been a couple revisions; older ones don't have the VMU connector, so look for the one that specifies VMU connection.

It also supports Saturn controllers and PC keyboards.

Analog control is a little looser than the DC controller, but I prefer the DualShock over any of the DC controllers for analog games.

DC controllers are just too bulky for long playing sessions.

Sega's Arcade Stick rules for DC fighting games, though...

Add me to the list of those with God status. Had no problem finishing JGR with the DC controller.

I like the DC controller as well but do have friends that hate it. So I feel your pain.

I use a PS2 and 2 x PS1 controllers on my DC (along with 1 x DC controller). You can get adapters that allow you to do this from either
http://www.lik-sang.com
http://www.lik-sang.com/catalog/prod...p?category=29&
or
http://www.burn.com.au

I think you're after the Total Control Plus, which also allows you to insert a memory card. Also note that the dual shock capability functions equivalent to having a jump pack installed. There are other adapters that allow you to use PC keyboards, mouse, and Saturn controllers.

Highly recommended.
