The Irishman (2019, D: Scorsese) S: De Niro, Pacino, Pesci -- Netflix
From slashfilm:
Hopefully working with Scorsese again will get De Niro back on track.
Martin Scorsese has added yet another movie project to his ever growing plate. The latest is an adaptation of Charles Brandt’s 2005 novel I heard You Paint Houses. Schindler’s List scribe Steve Zaillian has been hired to pen the adaptation and Robert De Niro is signed on to play Frank “the Irishman” Sheeran, a mob assassin who is believed to have carried out more than 25 mob murders, and claimed to have killed Jimmy Hoffa.

After reading the title, all I can think about is that "Paint Your Wagon" spoof on the Simpsons.
http://www.snpp.com/episodes/5F24
Homer: Wait, wait, wait: here comes Lee Marvin. Thank God. He's always drunk and violent.
Lee Marvin: What the <hell> is going on in my town?
Man 1: We're just paintin' this wagon. Ya gotta problem with that?
Lee Marvin: As a matter of fact I do. You missed a spot.
Man 1: Well, grab a brush and join in!
Lee Marvin: Gonna paint that wagon/gonna paint it fine/gonna use oil-based paint/'cause the wood is pine.

I think The Aviator is the best of that group, but Scorsese still did atleast entertaining films after Goodfellas. Don't forget Cape Fear, Age of Innocence, Kundun, and Bringing out the Dead (very underrated).

yeah...Kundun has a crap DVD and Bringing out the Dead is OOP, right? I've never seen those but really want to buy them when available in the form of a badass DVD.

Bringing Out The Dead was part of Paramount's ugly cover changes a year or two ago. You could probably find it pretty cheap at Circuit City or Best Buy.

Done.
He's gotta get Pesci, though. The Good Sheperd blew - if he was going to come out of retirement for one film, I wish it would have been something like this.

lol.... It'd be kinda cool to see De Niro and DiCaprio in a film together....Scorsese's old work buddy with his new work buddy. I just have a hard time seeing those two together though, you know?
