Re: So what is your favorite movie?
Picking just one:
I'll never forget the first time I saw it. Nine years old, my parents away for the weekend, me in an empty house with the video tape I tricked the video store into calling my grandmother to give consent for me to rent it. I'd never seen a movie this creepy, gory, and exciting before. Nearly thirty years later, when I watch it, the movie still brings em back to that first amazing viewing.

This, exactly.
Did you include Dark Star because it fit into your title collage or are you really that awesome?

Re: So what is your favorite movie?
Kind of cheating but I'd say the Back to the Future Trilogy. I've loved them since I was a kid. If I'm forced to pick one it's probably the first but I like them all pretty equally. I agree that it's hard to pinpoint a favorite but I'd say those are at least in my top five or ten consistently.

Jaws
That shark is a hell of an actor. Unfortunately he was typecast and never managed to have a quality career.

For a long time, I would tell people my favorite movie is Boogie Nights. After obsessively loving movies for 20+ years, my answer is:
