One thing about Kindle books, I had no idea this was as long as it is...I was thinking it'd be a really quick read but it's like 700 pages. Like other Joe Hill books, I think it's ok, not great. In this case, I wish it was a bit shorter because parts have dragged for me.

In this case, he had a little epilogue, but it was stuck at end of the acknowledgements, so a normal person (not me, in other words) would've never seen it. Maybe it was that way in the print book, too.

He did it for sure for NOS4A2 so I had a friend check her ebook of The Fireman and she said it wasn't there. It may have been edited back in since then. It's never been anything to impact the story much, it's more the principle of it that bugs me.

Re: What Are You Reading?(April 2017)
Finished:
And that concludes the series. I wonder what the average paperback horror reader thought of this in the day. The paperbacks are rather deceiving, promising a gruesome horror-fest. While the series itself is about 90% southern gothic melodrama and 10% horror. The whole thing is very good though, for readers that can accept it for was it is.
Thinking of continuing on with "The Magicians" series next (I only read the first book). It's only 3 books, right?
