Maybe I'm suffering the effects of getting 2 hours of sleep but this looks funny to me.

I just watched the 1st episode and I really enjoyed it. The 2 leads have great chemistry. I thought the bit at the end with his sister was hilarious.

I've loved Sam from Veep, so was well up for this, and I'm not disappointed at all! It's excellent stuff. the gigolo ep was brilliant

I thought the pilot was kind of meh, but the 2nd and 3rd episodes were great -- the prostitute episode in particular was hilarious. Loved Tim's awkward effort at roleplaying with his wife and his attempts at being Sam's wingman at the end killed me.

This has quickly become my favorite live action comedy on TV. Last ep was great.

Love this show... it's right up there with Last Man on Earth to me. Same quirky, odd humor.

This show is hilarious!
This is a serious Detroit show. I mean it isn't a show with one still shot of a local landmark, they are up in here. The bar they go to is in one the sketchiest parts of Detroit I know of, obviously it's just the outside of the building they're using, but it tripped me out because that bar is located next to the dry cleaners my grandmother owned back in the day.

I learned from that article that Sam and Tim are best friends in real life.

Guess I'm the only one who cares.
This show is knocking it out of the park.
So crazy.
Tim's dad showed up tonight, jeez how big is Big Hank.
Oh man was that the Fat Boys appearing as the orderlies?
I know one of them is dead but apparently they have a new Fat Boy.
Mort Crim is the news anchor, that is really him.
People from Detroit and Philadelphia will know who he is.
He was Jessica Savitch's partner in Phila on KYW.
Also known as one of the inspirations for Ron Burgandy.
I think the look was inspired by this guy.
This show is surreal.
Oh I think that Big Hank was Kevin Nash aka Triple H

Your not the only one who appreciates this shows brilliance. Most people haven't caught on yet though. Another great ep.

"Husky Boys...we're going to hide the way you look."
They play this commercial a lot on my local news channel. The jingle is so terrible but still catchy. Makes me think of Deeeeeveraux!

Re: Detroiters (Comedy Central) - from EPs Lorne Michaels, Jason Sudeikis
Season two of Detroiters is almost here! The series will premiere with back-to-back half-hour episodes on Thursday, June 21 at 10pm ET/PT and then each Thursday at 10:30pm ET/PT through finale. Detroiters stars real-life best friends and Detroit natives Sam Richardson and Tim Robinson as small-time ad men in the Motor City. Whatever they do, they do it together. And no matter what, Tim and Sam's love for each other and their city never wavers. In the second season, Tim and Sam work with bigger clients including the Michigan Science Center; Sam pursues new romantic interests; Tim's brother starts working at Cramblin Duvet and has a disruptive effect on the office; and the guys produce an ad with their hero, legendary Detroit news anchor, Mort Crim. The ten-episode second season guest stars include Tim Meadows, Bobby Moynihan, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Faizon Love, Amber Ruffin, Jerry Minor, Conner O'Malley, Nora Dunn, Mort Crim, and University of Michigan football coach, Jim Harbaugh.

Anybody else giving this show a shot? Season 1 was okay... Season 2 is incredibly funny. Being from outside Detroit, the references are golden but the comedy in and of itself is really good stuff. I highly recommend it.

Season 2 is a big step down, IMO. Only one funny episode.
