September viewings:
Spoiler:
I wanted to start early so any horror I watch in September will count as a negative and I will not count it toward my October tally.

+ = first time viewing
All rating are out of 5 stars

Movies
+ -1. Bikini Swamp Girl Massacre (2014 - Streaming - Amazon Prime - 1/2 a star): Just awful. No good nudity. No good gore. Acting is horrible. Story is horrible. Avoid.
+ -2. Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey Of Richard Stanley's Island Of Dr. Moreau (2014 - Streaming - Netflix - ****): Very interesting documentary but it ended with more questions than answers. I know it was just about Stanley but I felt they could have added another hour easy to include the rest of the production.
+ -3. A Serbian Film (2010 - Streaming - Youtube - **1/2): Wanted to see this just because of the controversy. Yeah, this film can be replusive but I found it more ludicrous than reality. Some parts were so dumb and over the top that I found this was more a dark comedy than a true to life drama. It definintely has some repulsive parts in it though.
-4. Piranha (2010 - BD - Own it - ****1/2): The more I see this movie the more I love it. Just so ridiculous but fun. This is the way to do a stupid horror film!
+ -5. Mondo Cannibal (2004 - Streaming - Exploitation.TV via Roku - *1/2): Basically a complete copy of Cannibal Holocaust without the grindhouse feel and worse effects.
+ -6. Mother Of Tears (2007 - DVD - Netflix - **1/2): Some decent gore and tits but dull story.
+ -7. The Midnight Meat Train (2008 - BD - Netflix - ***): Gory buy silly horror film. Fun but dumb.

Television
+ -.25. Tales From The Darkside (1984 - DVD - own it - **1/2): Season 1, episode 7: "Slippage"
+ -.50 Tales From The Darkside (1984 - DVD - own it - ****): Season 1, episode 8: "Inside The Closet" - first really creepy episode for this series.
+ -.75 Tales From The Darkside (1984 - DVD - own it - ***1/2): Season 1, episode 1: "Trick Or Treat" w/ commentary by George Romero - The episode is good but the commentary is lackluster.
-1.25 Masters Of Horror (2005 - BD - own it - ****1/2): Season 1, Episode 4: "Jenifer" - just a really creepy short. I like how it explains nothing but still remains interesting.
-1.75 Masters Of Horror (2005 - BD - own it - ***1/2): Season 1, Episode 5: "Sick Girl" - another creepy one. But I also hate bugs.
-2.25 Masters Of Horror (2005 - BD - own it - ***): Season 1, Episode 6: "Deer Woman" - more funny than scary or creepy. It doesn't resolve itself very well.
+ -2.75 Hammer House Of Horror (1980 - DVD - own it - ***1/2): Episode 1: "Witching Time" - nice creepy story about a witch who travels to the future and won't leave.
+ -3.0 Tales From The Crypt (1989 - DVD - own it - ***): Season 1, Episode 1: "The Man Who Was Death" - nothing special first episode. A death penalty executioner gets his.
+ -3.25 Tales From The Crypt (1989 - DVD - own it - ***): Season 1, Episode 2: "And All Through The House" - played more for laughs than horror. Benny from L.A. Law plays a crazed Santa.
+ -3.5 The Ray Bradbury Theater (1985 - DVD - own it - **1/2): Season 1, Episode 1: "The Crowd" - nothing special
+ -3.75 The Ray Bradbury Theater (1985 - DVD - own it - ***): Season 1, Episode 2: "Marionettes, Inc." - funny how lack of privacy scared people in the 80's. Facebook has made them immune nowadays.
-4. Masters Of Horror (2005 - BD - own it - **): Season 1, Episode 1: "Cigarette Burns" - lame. Minor buildup with no payoff.
-4.5 Masters Of Horror (2005 - BD - own it - ***1/2): Season 1, Episode 2: "Dreams In The Witchhouse" - kept my interest.
-5 The Fair-Haired Child (2005 - BD - own it - ***)
