Where to sell DVDs without cases?
Hi, I've got a moderate collection of DVDs (somewhere in the 350~ range), including TV seasons. But I've got none of the cases, only the disks. Anyone know of a good place to sell these or am I stuck dealing with ebay again?
Thanks for your time!

I see listings for DVD's in bulk like that on Craigslist sometimes. They usually have to discount them heavily. You could try eBay, but if you have a lot of common titles, those usually go for $0.01 to $1.00 WITH a case, so without, you're probably not going to have any luck.

Probably going to have to go the CL or Ebay route. I work for a used retailer (Half Price Books), and we have no good way to merchandise them without a case.

I am going out in a limb and he figured what to do with them two years ago when he made the original post.

Jenni609 and The Man with the Golden Doujinshi -- I just stumbled across this site as I was looking for a place to sell a lot of DVD's and Blurays just as the original poster had listed. Shoot me an email at [email protected] if you're interested.

Re: Where to sell DVDs without cases?
I have been selling the dvds that come with the blu-rays releases on Craiglists for the past 3-4 years. I been asking $4 for newer releases. Also buy 5 for $3 each, buy 10 dvds & price drops to $2 & buy 20 or more & it drops to $1. I have a little less than 100 left. Sales have really slowed down since most of the dvds left are older titles.

Re: Where to sell DVDs without cases?
Greetings. Was loooking for a place to potentially sell about 2,000 (yes, two thousand) used DVDs without jewel cases. All DVDs are stored in large, Case Logic CD/DVD boxes (approx. 150-200 DVDs each).
Is this something you might be interested in?

Are you still interested or in the market for used DVDs, or did I misunderstand your message?
Looking forward to your reply.

Apparently this is a good thread for first posts.
I wish that if anyone ever intends to sell their video collections that they would not store these discs in "photo albums", keep them in their respective cases, or at the very least keep the cases in storage. I wouldn't buy discs without their cases, ever. Some people might but most won't. The ones who do won't expect to pay much.
