This season has been fantastic so far.
The blow job scene actually shocked me, even if it really didn't show anything.

Re: Mad Men -- "At the Codfish Ball" -- 4/29/12
The show is just so incredibly well crafted. They payoff is the scene at the end where not a single person at Don's table (including Don) is happy. But to get there, every action and situation was completely in character. Everyone unhappy? Just what you'd expect from an episode where the devil makes an appearance.
There comes a point where something is so good I begin to ask myself why other things can't be as good. I'm sure the creative forced behind Mad Men are quite talented, but I also believe there are many other talented people out there in the industry. Why don't we see more of them? Maybe they're off compromising on more profitable shows. Whatever the case, you just have to shrug and be thankful of what you get.

We've got someone from Beverly Hills Cop on Breaking Bad, someone from RoboCop on Mad Men. Two of my favorite movies connected to two of my favorite shows...I love it. Both of them henchmen in their film roles too. Nice.

Forgive me if this is a completely dense question, but why did Meagan look so unhappy after talking to Peggy? Obviously Meagan expected Peggy to be jealous, but Peggy wasn't. Was she upset by Peggy saying that this was as good as the job gets?

That's how I took it. That point was driven home at the end of the episode when her father tells her that she is surrendering her dreams by working in advertising and staying with Don.

Fantastic episode. Everything at the ball was great and the scenes with Megan's parents were excellent.
Roger (when entering Don's office): "Oh, you two are actually working."

"Dirty!"
Roger is the da man.
Great scene.
Yep. Didn't she come to NY to be a model or actress?
And I love how Pete described his 'job' to her marxist father.
