Good episode, looking forward to next week's conclusion. This is the first time I've been completely caught up on this show and been able to watch an episode as it airs, ever. It was a fun experience. Interesting though in the preview for next week that it looks like the redhead from LOST is back? It seems like maybe she was a plant by Bell, to test Olivia's powers? It was fun(ny) seeing her take control of Peter during that fight, too.

Good episode. Interesting how this new Universe has apparently written William Bell as a "potential" diabolical villain like Walternate in the Red Universe.
Yeah I was also surprised to see Nimoy considering how he seemed so adament that he was "retired" from acting.
I agree, if the 2036 events come to light, I'm not worried about Astrid in the slightest bit. It was cool to see her kick a little ass.

So William Bell suffered a different "death" in this timeline? Seems odd that things were so different for him...he didn't cross over and stay at the WTC nor help the Fringe team in any way....strange.

Fantastic episode. That was the perfect place to leave off for the cliffhanger.
Can't wait til next week and it's a good feeling knowing this isn't the series finale!

What are you not understanding?
Are the changes in the Orange Universe confusing you? The key thing to remember is when Peter was erased from the Blue Universe, it completely re-wrote alot of the show's history and Blue became Orange. Hence that's why we are seeing a different incarnation of William Bell, not the friend and ally from 2 years ago.

I don't say I'm not following 100% so I'm not talked down to. But since I have company....
I don't think it's so much my stupidity, as it is the show's bad way of explaining it.
So, this Olivia is "now" the right Olivia because she merged with the other right Olivia?
I just explain this stuff to myself by saying "oh it was rebooted."

Olivia (Orange) is the same as Olivia (Blue) The Cortexiphan drug somehow re-ignited the memories from the Blue Universe that was erased when Peter left.

This was good but felt a little disjointed (first the nanites, then the almost unrelated supervillian plot to burn up Boston). It looks like, from the previews for next week, that Rebecca Mader returns, so perhaps it will not seem as disjointed when both parts are viewed at once. Also a little disappointed that they dispatched David Robert Jones so quickly, but the producers have said there is still more to his story (and that his death will improve when put into context). Leonard Nimoy was great, as always. His presence lends a real gravitas to the proceedings.
Tidbit #1: The director of St Claire's is John Noble's daughter
Tidbit#2: Robin Williams has asked the producers to invite him to guest star (!)
