'Splosion Man	Xbox 360	+ Awesome 2D platforming, with great level design. + Lots of levels. Beat the single-player game? Multiplayer has 50 more levels that are completely different from single player. + Donuts, Go Nuts Grade: A	January
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2	Xbox 360	+ Spec Ops are a great addition - The campaign is really short and easy, even on Veteran. The story is ridiculous and the settings for half the levels are laughably bad. + Multiplayer is still a ton of fun... - ... but there have been a ton of crippling glitches Grade: A-	January
Mirror's Edge	Xbox 360	+ Feels almost like a Run Lola Run video game would be. It works really well. - The fighting parts (thankfully there aren't many) don't work very well. It is a parkour game, so those parts aren't really necessary and shouldn't even be in the game. Grade: A-	January
The Simpsons Game	Xbox 360	+ Good environments and lots of humor for Simpsons fans. - The camera is horrible - The achievements are beyond stupid. Almost half of the points are for collecting about 500 items that are completely unnecessary for the gameplay. There is also one where you have to beat the final boss without getting hurt. It would be no problem, but you're required to use the terrible D-Pad, which will get you hurt countless times. Grade: C+	February
Bioshock 2	Xbox 360	+/- Even though you're a Big Daddy now, the game plays almost identically to the first one. The first one was a lot of fun, but I felt like I could have just replayed the first one and gotten about the same amount of enjoyment out of it as this one. - Multiplayer is laggy, crash-prone, filled with terrible maps, and filled with terrible gameplay modes. - Just like with the first one, the only "hard" parts come at the very beginning of the game. After that, you have so much ammo, Eve, Adam, money, and med kits that the game is a cakewalk, even on the hardest difficulty with vita chambers turned off. Grade: B-	March
Aegis Wing	Xbox 360	- Single-player doesn't work very well. It is clearly not meant to be played single-player. +/- Online multiplayer is fun, but latency is a big problem, especially when ships are in formation. Grade: C	June
N+	Xbox 360	+ Tons of well-designed levels, boatloads more available for very cheap, and a level editor. Who could ask for more? - Whose bright idea was it to put the suicide button right next to the jump button? - Speaking of the jump button, it is a bit flaky at times. Grade: B+	July
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks	Nintendo DS	+ The dungeon design was up to the usual Zelda standards - New controls should only be used if it makes it easier to control or if you can't do something with traditional controls. For something like the boomerang, the touch controls work quite well. For almost everything else, the controls are a total failure. - Over-reliance on the microphone makes it impossible to play many parts of the game in an area with ambient noise. - Riding the train is just tedious, and it drastically hinders the exploration that you can do. Grade: C-	July
Halo: Reach	Xbox 360	+/- Standard Halo single-player gameplay. It is still fun, but it hasn't really changed much since the original. There isn't really anything else to say. Grade: B	October
Alien Hominid	Xbox 360	- Bullets are really hard to see. That is the only thing that makes the game hard. - Forgettable combat and levels. Generic action game. Grade: D+	October
Metroid: Other M	Wii	- Metroid games are about exploration. This isn't a Metroid game; it is a bad action game that uses the Metroid name. - Horrible controls. No analog control, and a ridiculous first-person mode required to shoot missiles. Wiimote + nunchuck combo would have worked infinitely better. - Stupid health system that requires you to meditate in order to heal, but you can only do it if you're almost dead. Grade: F	October
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts	Xbox 360	+ Building vehicles works well, and there are tons of different components you can do. The possibilities are limitless. - The physics feel a bit off at times. - I really want a new Banjo platformer. This is roughly 98% racing, 2% platformer. I knew this going in, so I won't count it against the game, but please give us a new Banjo platformer. Grade: B	November

Demon's Souls: A
It took me a while to figure out how everything worked, but I was sold on this as soon as I understood the online/co-op aspect. I can't recommend this one enough.

Bioshock: A-
I would have given it an A but I started to lose interest during the last hour of the game. Still had a blast but it didn't convince me to immediately run out and play the sequel.
