Re: First Annual B-Movie/Exploitation/Drive-in Movie Challenge ***Lists Go Here***

Goal: 50
* = First Time Viewing

April 1
01. Cavegirl (1985)* Started this at midnight eastern time and managed to get through it without falling asleep; however, that really was a challenge. 3/10
02. Coach (1978)* Cathy Lee Crosby is hired as the coach of a boys high school basketball team and falls for one of her players. It's a story straight out of todays headlines!!! 5/10

April 2
03. Jocks (1986)* WOW, that was bad. Not even Christopher Lee and a young, hot Mariska Hargitay could save this. 2/10

April 4
04. My Tutor (1983)* Well, that was a little better. At least they attempted a little character development. 5/10
05. The Pom Pom Girls (1976)* 4/10
06. The Van (1977)* Who knew vans were such panty droppers? 5/10

April 6
07. The Beach Girls (1982)* No plot what-so-ever, just lots of gratitutious nudity. That's not all bad!!! 4/10
08. Hunk (1987)* With characters named Hunk Golden, Constantine Constapopolis, Laurel Springs, Skeet Mecklenberger and Coaster Royce, how can it be bad? I actually kind of enjoyed this one for some strange reason. 6/10

April 7
09. My Chauffeur (1986)* Had a few humerous moments, but overall, very average. 4/10

April 8
10. Malibu Beach (1978)* You know it's bad when the star of the movie is a dog trained to steal bikini tops. 2/10

April 9
11. Tomboy (1985)* Not too bad, I suppose, but then again, not really very good either. 4/10

April 10
12. Weekend Pass (1984)* This was horrible, probably the worst I've seen yet. 1/10
13. The Giant Gila Monster (1959)* Falls into the category of so bad, it's good. I especially liked how the monster seemed to change sizes. Sometimes it look like the size of several cars, other times it looked like it was a few inches long. 4/10

April 11
14. Action Jackson (1988)* I liked this. Not 100% sure it counts because it looked big budget at times; however, IMDB lists it as Blaxploitation, so I'll count it unless someone objects. 6/10
15. Poison (2001)* Directed by Jim Wynorski. I liked this one a little more than I should. Reminded me of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. Definitely better than the 2.6 rating on IMDB. 5/10
16. The Killer Shrews (1959)* Another one that's so corny, it's good. 4/10
17. Pick-Up (1975)* I have no idea what I watched here. I think you have to be high to get anything out of it. 2/10

April 12
18. The Teacher (1974)* Not bad, much better than I expected and Angel Tompkins is hot. Good, creepy performance by Anthony James. 6/10
19. Best Friends (1975)* A little deeper than most B-Movies; however, something seemed to be missing. 4/10

April 13
20. Trip with the Teacher (1975)* Not bad, but could have been so much better. 5/10
21. The Sister-in-Law (1974)* 5/10

April 14
22. The Stepmother (1972)* Somewhat entertaining, but I'll probably never watch it again. 5/10

April 15
23. Malibu High (1979)* 4/10

April 16
24. Cindy and Donna (1970)* Not much plot, just lots of nudity. 4/10

April 17
25. Class of 1984 (1982)* By far, the best movie I've watched for this challenge. Not at all what I expected, but I loved it. 8/10
26. Showgirls (1995) Always good for a laugh or two. 5/10

April 18
27. City of Violence (2006)* Pretty good South Korean crime flick. Good fight scenes. 6/10
28. Shadow Man (2006)* Starring Steven Seagal who can't move like he used to, but still a pretty entertaining movie. I liked it. 6/10
29. Until Death (2007)* Starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. Good story that drags a little in the middle. Overall, a good watch. 5/10

April 19
30. The Glimmer Man (1996)* Another entertaining Seagal movie. Also, has Keenen Ivory Wayans and Brian Cox who were both good. 6/10
31. Out of Reach (2004)* This was a not so good Seagal film. Seemed like it lasted forever despite being only 86 minutes. 3/10

April 20
32. Second in Command (2006)* This is Jean-Claude Van Damme at his best. Nothing that hasn't been seen before, but I loved it!!! 7/10
33. Diamond Dogs (2007)* Starring Dolph Lundgren. Had the potential to be good, but something was missing. 4/10

April 21
34. It's Alive (1974)* Directed by Larry Cohen. Decent 70's horror movie. Not very scary by todays standards, but who can't love a killer baby? 5/10

April 26
35. It's Alive 2: It Lives Again (1978)* Directed by Larry Cohen. Pretty good sequel. I think I liked this one a little better than the original. Not just one killer baby, but three!!! 6/10

April 27
36. It's Alive 3: Island of the Alive (1987)* Directed by Larry Cohen. By far the weakest of the trilogy, but still somewhat entertaining. Better special effects and gore, but weaker storyline. 4/10
37. The Russian Specialist (2005)* Good shootout at the end, but was a struggle to get there. Dolph Lundgren is just not quite the action star Seagal and Van Damme are. 3/10

April 28
38. Above the Law (1988)* Steven Seagal's first feature film. Not his best, but decent 5/10
